I have mixed soya powder (Flour) into Wheat flour(Chapati flour). Everytime i make chapati's i mix 1/2 cup soya flour. Everyone knows that Soya is good for health & I felt that this will be good soya in take for my entire family. My mom used to do this from past few years. Nowadays everywhere soya has become famous & people have started doing varities of food using it.
Ingredients for Soya Chapati
- Soya Powder (Flour) - 1/2 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Water to knead the dough
Method
- Mix soya powder and wheat flour
- Add salt, oil and water make a soft dough
- Take the small ball of the dough and make a round with the help of wheat flour and using rolling pin
- Heat tawa / griddle on medium flame
- Place the chapati and grease the oil on both the sides and roast it.
Masoor Dhal
Ingredients for Masoor Dhal
- Masoor Dhal - 1 cup
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Kasoori methi (dry fenugreek leaf) - 1 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Garnish coriander
Grind to paste
- Green chilies - 3 or 4
- Tomatoes - 2 large or Canned tomatoes
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ginger a small piece
Method
- Boil the tomatoes adding a bit of water and cool it
- Grind the tomatoes, garlic, ginger, chillies make a paste
- Wash and cook the masoor dhal in the pressure cooker
- Meanwhile heat pan and add oil, mustard seeds allow to splutter
- Add onions strir fry and add tomato paste, boil
- Add dhal, salt and stir
- Add chilli powder, garam masala & kasoori methi bring to boil for mins
- garnish coriander

I bought Soy flour for the first time and I love it. So much better to use flour than other soy stuff!:)
