Ingredients
- Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 200 grms - Cubes
- Onion, cubes - 1/4 cup
- Tomatoes - cubes - 1/4 cup
- Capsicum / Bell peppers, cubes - 1/4 cup
- Jeera seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Black Peppercorns - 4 crushed
- Red chillies - 1 or 2
- Tomato Puree - 1/2 cup
- Ginger + Garlic finely chopped - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin / Jeera powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander / Dania powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - A pinch
- Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Karuri methi - 1/2 tsp crushed
- Oil - 2 tbsp + 1tsp Ghee
- Cut paneer in to medium size cubes
- Heat the oil and ghee in a kadai/pan
- Heat oil in a pan, Add jeera seeds, peppercorns and red chillies
- Fry onions, Capsicum pieces on a low flame
- Add tomato puree and ginger garlic paste
- Add all the dry powders
- Add salt Stir well close and cook for few mins on simmer flame
- Add tomatoes and paneer mix well
- Add Kasuri methi and coriander leaves
- Close the lid and cook for few mins
