This is the easiest breakfast recipe. Not much time needed for preparation. For this, Add potato curry and it will become onion rava masala dosa.
Ingredients
- Semolina / Rave - 1 cup
- Plain flour / Maida - 1/4 cup
- Rice flour / Akki hittu - 3/4 cup
- Onion - 1 , finely chopped
- Green chillies - 1 or 2, finely chopped
- Cumin / Jeera seeds - 2 tbsp
- Blackpepper crushed - 1 tbsp
- Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves, chopped
- Curry leaves
- Water
- Oil - for dosa
Method
- Take a large bowl mix rave,riceflour, jeera,onions,curryleaves,chillies,corianderleaves,blackpepper,ginger and maida
- Add little water and make thick batter then pour lot of water. The batter should be very thin
- Heat the flat nonstick tawa / or castiron tawa in a low heat
- Take a small glass/tumbler pour batter and then pour the batter into tawa
- Let cook for few mins then add spoon full of oil and cook in the medium heat until golden color
- Remove and serve hot with chutney

I like the lacy dosais, or even large gaps like you have... it just increases the crispiness of the dosai. Love it that way.
Crispy rava dosa is my fav, I make it by sprinkling. I like with onion :)
I agree with Anudivya ... I think it is the gaps that make it crispier. Love rawa dosas. :-)
