POTATO CURRY (Aloo bhaji)

  • Potatos / Aloo - 4
  • Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Chana dal - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 stalk
  • Green chillies - 2/3(finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 5 tsp
  1. Boil the potatos, peel and mash them
  2. Heat oil in the pan
  3. Add mustard seeds and chana dal, turmeric powder Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves and fry until the onions turn golden
  4. Add the mashed potatoes, salt and stir fry
Serve hot with chapati, puri
